Impressive FOOD DRIVE Results - Thankyou

Thank you for contributing to our neighbourhood Spring Food Drive, held last Saturday. We gathered 485 lbs of non-perishables and $200.00 in cash donations. In addition on the day, we'd learned homeless people had been sighted in the vicinity, so we dropped off a box of food nearby for them to find.

After delivery to "Feed the Need in Durham" we were told the food would provide 400 meals and the cash would support the distribution of $1,400 worth of food to Durham neighbours. This is a very impressive result for our small Neighbourhood Watch, even exceeding our successful pre-Christmas Food Drive last year. Kindness like this lifts people up! Thanks again.
