CAUTION - to dog walkers along the Creek Trail

There's every reason to believe careless individuals have discarded a small amount(s) of cannabis somewhere along our section of Carruthers Creek Trail. Over the past 3 weeks my puppy has twice ingested some while on her walk in that area. In both cases within an hour, we observed her loss of focus, lethargy and side-to-side head bobbing. A blood test by the Animal Emergency Clinic, Whitby confirmed she had THC in her system.

The animal emergency clinic staff added that this has recently become a much more frequent condition they're asked to treat. SUGGESTED PRECAUTIONS: keep your dog on a tight leash and disallow sniffing while on the Trail for the time being.
